Cep Page Update

In the last 24 hours, I've read the comments that you
all have posted here, and I've talked with many people
about the CEP3: artists and creators, owners of free
and pay sites, and obvioulsy MTS2 staff.

I'm still convinced that the limitation to the usage
of the CEP would have had the benefic effect to give
more visibility to the more skilled creators: i.e.
the ones that don't give up when there are difficulties,
and have the knowledge (or can learn) to manually
colour-enable an object. Actually, more persons that
I'd believed said they agreed with me about the CEP3 Policy.

Obvioulsy, another strong motivation of my decision
was that I wasn't inclined any more to see the CEP be
used by a lot of creators, without recieving proper
visibility and credits for my work. Important: I'm NOT
saying that the creators are to blame; everyone just
applied an extremely liberal license agreement that
was stated long ago, that didn't request any mention
to MTS2, and allowed any site to host the CEP files
or link to SimPE site for the CEP Downloads.

Since the situation is now very different than
9 months ago (when the first CEP was released), I've
asked - for MTS2 and myself - to have the deserved visibility,
that mainly means a link to this thread next to the CEP3 objects.
The sites I have talked with (yes, TSR, but not only)
decided that was time to finally allow links back to MTS2,
unlike the past.

As a consequence, I've now updated the CEP3 License
Agreement, allowing any site (including paysites) to
host both CEP3 Recolours and CEP3 Clones. The only
condition is to put the proper links and/or credits
(as described below) next to each download, or
alternatively on a specific CEP Info Page.

Here is the part of the License agreement that has
been updated (the complete text is on the fronty page).

---------------------------------------------

Recolour packages created for CEP3 objects can be posted on any site
(including paysites); in any case, the creator must advertise
each download as a "CEP3 Recolour" and add a link to this thread. Alternatively,
the provided link can point to a local CEP Info Page that must contain a link
to this thread. Credits for each download are optional if there is a local CEP
Info Page that contains proper credits to Numenor, RGiles and Quaxi.

Objects created by cloning CEP3 objects can be posted on any
site (including paysites); each download must be advertised as a CEP3 Clone
and give credits to Numenor, RGiles and Quaxi. No link to this thread
is required.
